What does the MAT Program at HOPES do and how does it help people in recovery?
Northern Nevada HOPES’ MAT program is a behavioral health focused program that uses medications to support recovery for individuals struggling with alcohol and/or opioid dependence.
HOPES MAT team and program practice harm reduction which involves meeting patients where they are and developing a holistic treatment plan based on a patient’s specific goals. We provide both individual and group psychotherapy to individuals in our MAT program.

We are fortunate to have a multidisciplinary team of professionals with a broad range of training and experience. We each bring our unique skills and perspectives together to provide comprehensive and individualized treatment to our patients.
What Kind of Training does HOPES’ MAT Team Provide to Other Healthcare/Behavioral Health Professionals?
Our MAT team is the designated team for Project ECHO Nevada. We provide two ECHO clinics per month to providers all over the state, and even across the country. During these clinics, we focus on providing expert consultation and didactic training to providers who are building MAT programs or who are interested becoming MAT certified.
