Renewed Life in the Desert: A Journey of Sobriety and Sanity at Hope Springs – A Letter

Terence (pictured to the left), a Hope Springs resident, reflects on how much Hope Springs has changed his life and how grateful he is to be surrounded by staff, especially Benny (pictured to the right). Terence's letter shows us how important it is to have hope, even when things seem tough.

“Hope Springs was my cactus 🌵 in the desert. I was able to recover my sobriety and sanity at no expense at all. I received the mental health repair that I needed and support from a wonderful staff of committed counselors.

Benny refuses to allow anyone to give up on themselves despite the pushback he often receives from the residents. He never took it personally and continued to motivate, inspire, and assist unreservedly.

The resources available are many and priceless; with the right attitude recovery is guaranteed and failure is impossible.

I’m forever grateful and indebted to Hope Springs and Benny for my new lease on life. Benny taught us that the greatest gift from sobriety is a chance to live again which I’m currently doing.

Thx you hope springs.”
