Dr. Jennifer E Edwards began practicing medicine in 1999 and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is passionate about healthcare and enjoys caring for patients of all ages, with diverse medical and social conditions. Making doctor visits less intimidating, she believes, is the first step in helping people address their health needs.

Dr. Edwards joined HOPES because the organization respects and values the needs of patients, employees, and the larger Reno community. Working in an organization that welcomes and supports every individual makes HOPES a wonderful place to provide excellent, comprehensive, and compassionate healthcare.

Personal Interests:
Originally from Southeast Alaska and a member of the Tlingit/Tsimshian Tribes. She is a member of the Association of American Indian Physicians (AAIP) and serves on the University of Washington School of Medicine’s Center for Indigenous Health Advisory Group.
