Behavioral Health

""

Behavioral health refers to the emotions and behaviors that affect your overall well-being. Behavioral health care includes addressing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, life stressors and crises, and stress-related physical symptoms. In our behavioral health care services, Northern Nevada HOPES (HOPES) helps people make safer choices when it comes to substance use and sexual behavior, also called harm reduction. This approach involves meeting patients where they’re at and developing a treatment plan based on their specific goals. Reach out to us at 775-786-4673 to explore your options.

We meet you where you are

paying for care

HOPES takes most insurance plans, Medicaid, and Medicare. HOPES also cares for uninsured patients. If you don’t have insurance, we use a sliding fee scale which adjusts cost based on what you can afford to pay. Our team meets with all new patients to make sure they can get the care they need.

Mental health care for young patients

HOPES behavioral health specialists include pediatric and adolescent therapists and a pediatric psychiatrist. Telehealth and in-person appointments are available.
