The Gender and Sexual Healthcare Clinic at Northern Nevada HOPES (HOPES) provides gender affirming resources, healthcare, and support to transgender and gender non-conforming individuals. The Clinic was made possible by the Dr. Barry Frank Family Fund.
Gender affirming services
Through HOPES, patients seeking gender affirming medical and behavioral healthcare have access to:
- Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
- Onsite pharmacy where patients can receive their HRT medications
- Case management
- Financial support
- Gender affirmation and processing therapy group
- Gender affirming surgery mental health evaluation letter
To access any of these programs or services, ask your HOPES provider for a referral. If you are not already a HOPES patient, become a patient by calling 775-786-4673.
Northern Nevada LGBTQ+ Resources
Access a variety of LGBTQ+ resources, including educational guides, advocacy and allies, transition services and products, medical and mental health, and spiritual support.
Financial support
Gender-affirming patients seeking social or medical transition services may qualify for financial assistance related to transition including:
- Legal fees
- Name change assistance
- Surgical services fees
- Hair removal
- Voice coaching
- Clothing, cosmetics
- HRT financial assistance
