Title x
title x sliding fee scale
The Title X family planning program is a cornerstone of America’s public health safety net. For over 50 years, it has provided confidential services and served as a critical point of entry into care for men, women, and teens, helping nearly 195 million people access essential health services. Title X is designed to ensure that high-quality family planning and preventive health care are accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. At Northern Nevada HOPES, we’re proud to participate in the Title X program and offer services through a sliding fee scale, so cost is never a barrier to care.
What is Title X and Who Does It Serve?
Title X provides confidential family planning services, including birth control, STD testing and treatment, and screenings for cancer and other health concerns. These services are available to men, women, and teens, with a focus on ensuring equitable access for underserved communities. For more detailed information, visit the HHS Title X website.
